2010: The Year Pigs Flew

My son turned one on January 2, 2010...A few weeks later, The New Orleans Saints won The Super Bowl! Therefore, 2010 was the year pigs flew, hell froze over, and the year I found out I had a passion for baking. My son's birthday party was, of course, football themed, and I had one HECK of a time trying to make his football helmet cakes. One was a UT helmet cake because I was born and raised in TN, and the other was, you guessed it, a Saints helmet cake. Considering these cakes were the first specialty cakes I had ever made, I was very pleased with the outcome. Touchdown!
